One of CSAS' goals is to connect to our community and there may be no other person better at doing that than Mr. Davis Mounger, a scicene teacher at the Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences.  Ever since Mr. Mounger's arrival to CSAS he has made contacts with businesses all across the area.  Well, his tradition continues as CSAS, Hixson High School, and the Chattanooga Public Library are joining forces to create a real-time water quality monitoring system.  Mozilla thinks its pretty neat too, because they are funding the project with sugnificant grant money!  Congratulations to Mr. Mounger, the students working on the project, Hixson High School and the Chattanooga Public Library.  Read more about it here on the Chattanooga Times Freepress link.
