What's Happening
First Grade Dives into the Ocean
Get on your wet suit and go deep sea diving with CSAS first grade! We are taking an in depth look at marine life. We will be studying the life cycle, adaptations, habitat, and food chain of ocean animals. We are learning about the zones of the ocean and which animals live in each zone.
Our students are researching ocean animals to present to their class. Presentations are due the week of November 15th. These presentations are intended to help develop critical public speaking skills at an early age.
Come to our Ocean Festival on November 19 at 2:00pm in the auditorium to see our First Graders present the wonders of the sea. Following their performance, we will sample various types of seafood in the cafeteria.
