Just in case you haven’t heard…..Horn’s Creek was a huge success!
The students were incredible, encouraging each other with difficult tasks as well as facing their own difficulties with determination. This is exactly the culture that we want to have at CSAS: a culture where students are encouraged and supported by their peers versus being teased or mocked, and a culture that encourages students to stretch and do difficult things! The advisors and I are so proud of the personal growth that the students accomplished.
I want to thank you on behalf of all the chaperones that went for allowing your student to participate in this important experience. The students’ good behavior and work ethic was a reflection of the importance and value you as a parent have instilled in them. Thank you.
A special thanks to our wonderful teachers that went on this trip, not to just supervise but to build relationships with their students. Much insight was learned by the teachers as to the uniqueness of each student which will allow them to better teach your child.
