Why are you at CSAS? I am at CSAS for a lot of reasons.  The first is I had an opportunity to intern here while getting my masters degree.  A professor at the University of Tennessee named Ted Hipple saw CSAS as one of the best philosophies of education actually being carried out and he wanted his students to be a part of it. Thankfully, 19 years later, I am still a ble to be a part of it.  That wouldn't be the case though without the incredibly humbling efforts of both students, parents, and teachers who made it possible for me to stay when cuts were being implemented in the system.  I am truly grateful.  I am also grateful that now all three of my children are students here.  I know that they are getting a quality education, but most importantly in an environment that is diverse and caring.  I know my children will be pushed to their limits so they can be successful in life.
