Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences

Kristin Knight

Hello and welcome to CSAS in 2012.

I am the 7th grade science teacher this year and I am excited to have all students for a full year.  We should be able to spend abundant time on each of our topics that includes Earth, Life, and Physical science concepts.  Students should expect lots of labratory experiences and projects (individual and group), as well as science seminars in each unit.  Although challenging, I hope that this will be a very rewarding year in science for everyone.

I can’t wait to see the Earth Club in full force again this year. We will continue our recycling program and work to increase awareness about environmental issues important to the CSAS community. Hiking and canoeing trips are in the works as well.

This will be a challenging year as we all adjust to new schedules. However, I anticipate a great year as we meet new friends and strengthen existing relationships. So get ready to work hard and reach your potential as a Paideia learner.

Sincerely,

Kristin Knight
