Pamela Watson

Welcome, CSAS choral students and parents!

Woo-hoo!  I hope you each had a great summer; and, hopefully, found some cooler weather somewhere!

I am even more excited about choir this year than the past three years.  Travis Lytle and Drew Craig have helped me AND the choir room get ready for class to start.

Our first choir concert is scheduled for Thursday, November 3rd at 6:00.  All choirs will be participating in this concert, so please put the date on your personal and family calendars now.  We'll have to find a new name for the concert, ("Freaky Friday" simply won't do this year) so be thinking of options for the concert title.

We also have our own website now!  Thanks again to Travis, please go to www.csaschoirs.com for more specific choir information.  There are also plans to send a Newsletter out at least once a month, so make sure you are on our e-mail list.  Class information, some assignment information, and details about upcoming events will be kept on this website.

Each choir student will have his/her own choral notebook this year.  This notebook will include the music we will be learning, and will be a place for students to keep a running glossary of terms covered in class.  Music theory and music history informtation will also be kept in this notebook.

I am so glad you’ve signed up for choir this year, and look forward to an exciting time of learning, singing and performing. So….get ready, get your water bottle, and let’s sing!

Take care,

Pamela Watson
