The 411 about Ms. Clark:
Education: B.S. in Middle Grades Mathematics and Natural Sciences from the wonderful University of Tennessee at Chattanooga
Why are you at CSAS? CSAS is a school of choice, growth, and lifelong learning. The overall atmosphere of the school is uplifting, the administration, faculty, and staff are encouraging and supportive, the students never cease to amaze me with their intelligence, creativity, and participation in seminar, and, most importantly, the parents are fully involved in their children's education. I am proud to be a Patriot--loving, supportive, and defensive of equal and challenging education!
Family: My loving family consists of my wonderful parents, Robert and Paula Clark, my sister, Cassandra Clark Hess, brother-in-law Anthony Hess, my adorable nieces, Briana and Melania Hess, my brother, James Webb, sister-in-law, Dee Webb, and niece and nephew, Courtney and Jared. My amazing boyfriend, Christopher Whitehead, is also a valuable part of my family.

Hobbies: Interior Decorating, Singing, Researching, Community Volunteering, Shopping, Actively Participating in my Sorority (Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.) and Sleeping!
Favorite sport(s): Football (GO TITANS!), Cheerleading (Yes, it is a sport!), and Volleyball
Favorite quotes:
"The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." -Mohandas Gandhi
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." -Mark Twain
"Life is a song - sing it.
Life is a game - play it.
Life is a challenge - meet it.
Life is a dream - realize it.
Life is a sacrifice - offer it.
Life is love - enjoy it."
- Sai Baba
Favorite subject when I was a student: I was a NERD and major teacher's pet in school. I thoroughly enjoyed MATH, SCIENCE, and SPELLING (participated in the National Spelling Bee in Washington, DC in 2001--proudly placed 73rd out of 252 contestants).
I look forward to learning more about each of my students. I predict that we will share an incredible year together, so LET THE LEARNING AND FUN BEGIN!
Very truly yours,
Ms. Raquel Clark
