I would like to extend a huge welcome back to my extended family—the students, parents, staff, and athletes of CSAS that are such an important part of my life. Towards the end of each summer, I always find myself anxiously awaiting the new school year. Teaching and coaching are simply parts of who I am, so every school year is a fulfilling, challenging, and transforming experience that enriches my life.
Yours in the educating and raising of our children,
Ron Nance
About Ron Nance
Education: Bachelor's in Secondary Education: English from UTC
Why are you at CSAS? I strongly believe in the power of "unity in diversity." CSAS is one of the few schools where one can teach a student body that is ethnically and socioeconomically diverse. I also believe the Paideia model to be the best practice for educating both the cognitive and affective domains.

Favorite quote: "O SON OF BEING! Love Me that I may love thee. If thou lovest Me not, My love can in no wise reach thee. Know this, O servant." This quote reminds me to open my heart to God so that His love will not be barred from reaching me and transforming my soul.
