CSAS has expectations of attire and it is the student’s responsibility to adhere to these expectations.
Pants
- shall be size appropriate to prevent sagging and the display of boxers/underwear
- shall be free of holes, rips or tears on the upper thigh, pockets and/or crotch
Shorts/Skirts/Dresses
- shall be size appropriate to prevent sagging and the display of boxers/underwear
- shall be free of holes, rips or tears on the upper thigh, pockets and/or crotch
- minimum length should reach the end of your fingertips when standing
- tights or leggings under skirts does not replace the expectation of minimum length (see above)
Tops
- shall adequately cover your chest, shoulders and stomach
- spaghetti strap tops and muscle undershirts shall not be worn as the top layer but may be worn underneath another shirt
- shall be free of profanity, slurs, inappropriate language, or drug and alcohol endorsement of any kind
- worn over leggings only shall meet the minimum length required for shorts/skirts and dresses
Consequences
If you fail to comply with expectations of attire, you will not be permitted to attend class until you are in compliance. This is a long standing policy at this school. In addition, you will receive the following disciplinary actions. All students will be apprised of the expectations of attire at the beginning of the school year and this will serve as the warning for meeting these expectations.
1st Offense – Detention and parent contact
2nd Offense – Parent conference in lieu of suspension
3rd Offense – 3 day suspension
